I was born on January the 1st in Dubai, UAE. When I was young, deep inside me there was a feeling or a thing that made me love art and every thing in it, where I used to wake up early in the morning and watch art shows, and start to do the things that have been showed. I knew from that time that when I grow up I want to study art!!
I went to Dubai National School, where I finished my high school in. I graduated in the year 2005, and before graduating I knew that I wanted to join Zayed University and study art.
Next semester I will be a senior in Graphic Design.
University was the best part in my life where I have met new people and friends, and I’m going to miss it when I’m done.

I will be a senior graphic design major next year at Maryland Institute College of Art. I grew up just north of Boston. I decided to travel to Dubai because I really wanted to know more about the Middle East. I wanted to understand the fear behind the image that American media spews out every evening. I wanted to unwrap these false preconceptions and get to know people that call the area home. I wanted to expand upon my experience of social design. Design can be so many things and do so much towards change. That is what I hope to continue learning.
Siobhan Elizabeth Feehan

Siobhan was the first born to Beth and William Feehan in Philadelphia, PA. They lived in the hustle and bustle of South Street for a year and a half til her younger sister, Kelsey was born. They moved to Brooklyn, NY where Siobhan spent her winters in school and her summers at the beach, enjoying the diversity of city life and Central Park. When Siobhan was 8, the Feehan’s decided to move to London, England for a change of pace and because their youngest child, William was going to be born. It was here that Siobhan was first introduced to travel; because everything was so close the Feehan’s took their new home as an opportunity to see Greece, Holland, France, Wales and Ireland. A few months after Siobhan’s 11th Birthday, the Feehan’s moved back to the US, to Princeton, NJ. Siobhan returned to her life of spending the winter at school and her summers at the beach but this time the mark of travel had left it’s impression. When Siobhan was 16 she traveled through Spain, Monaco, France and Italy with People to People. Italy’s artistic immersion made such an impression on Siobhan that she decided to go to an art university, and started commuting to art universities in New York and Philadelphia in her free time. Siobhan entered MICA in 2005, where she studies sculpture. During her junior year, Siobhan wanted to keep traveling and went to India, where she worked at an orphanage, climbed the Himalayas and swam with the full moon. Here, Siobhan learned the art of cultural immersion and traveling solo. When she returned to MICA she found herself restless and wanted to explore new fields, she entered into a number of different performances, such as a lead role in the play “Good Thing”, a zombie movie and a dance in the Carrol Mansion, but this was not enough. Siobhan went to Dubai, where she will continue to travel to Budapest, Prague and Berlin with her best friend, Clementine.
Siobhan believes in throwing herself at the will of the world. She wants to go to South America and Japan next.
